Membership Executive – Make UK Defence
Home based with occasional travel for events / visits - Doncaster / Yorkshire Area

Make UK Defence is a national not-for-profit, member owned defence trade association, part of Make UK – the manufacturers’ organisation. We champion and support the UK’s innovative and diverse defence manufacturers and the wider defence supply chain.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Membership Executive. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our membership processes and providing exceptional support to our valued members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new members, upgrades/downgrades and resignations
- Invoicing for new members and renewals
- Keep the CRM system and member platform accurate and up to date
- Process customer queries in an efficient and professional manner
- Provide admin support to a growing variety of MUKD events including webinars, meet the buyers and the MUKD Defence Summit and Dinner – booking process, manage enquiries and attend some of the events
- Support the membership managers with admin and queries
- Account manage some Level 1 members including Teams meetings and managing member queries
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, or sales roles preferred.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and build relationships with members.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
