Membership Manager – Trade Association

Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: £40-55k (depending upon experience) + bonus
Working Pattern: Full time, hybrid (three days a week in Central London)

Membership Bespoke is recruiting for a Membership Manager on behalf of an influential Trade Association. This is a high-impact relationship management role, ideal for someone with 4–6+ years’ experience to strengthen relationships across its community of member businesses and ensure they gain meaningful value from their membership.

What you will do

  • Run regular meetings with member businesses
  • Identify opportunities for members to engage, including events, introductions, training and business support.
  • Represent the organisation at networking events, roundtables and other events.
  • Lead smaller events that help organisations connect and thrive.
  • Support onboarding for new members and contribute to conversations with prospective organisations.
  • Work closely with colleagues across events, communications, policy and partnerships to deliver a seamless member experience.
  • Help champion business growth and collaboration across the membership community.

About you

  • Experienced in B2B membership, partnerships or account management.
  • A strong communicator who builds rapport quickly, stays organised and enjoys working in a collaborative, community-focused team.
  • Proactive, detail-driven and confident engaging senior business leaders.

About You

  • 4–6+ years’ experience in membership, partnerships, client services or account management.
  • Ideally membership organisation or trade body environment.
  • A natural relationship-builder with genuine curiosity about premium brands and the people who run them.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, confident producing proposals and handling contracts.
  • Highly organised, calm under pressure and able to manage a busy diary without dropping details.
  • Generous with your time and knowledge, collaborative, and a positive influence on junior colleagues.
  • A sleeves-rolled-up account handler who gets things done and ensures everything is properly recorded and actioned.
