Membership Manager – Trade Association

Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: £40-55k (depending upon experience) + bonus
Working Pattern: Full time, hybrid (three days a week in Central London)

Membership Bespoke is recruiting for a Membership Manager on behalf of an influential organisation supporting some of the UK’s most recognised premium brands. This is a high‑impact relationship management role, ideal for someone with 4–6+ years’ experience who thrives on building trusted partnerships, curating exceptional member experiences and acting as a connector across a vibrant, high‑end sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a portfolio of members, acting as their primary relationship manager and trusted point of contact.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with CEOs, founders, marketing directors and senior decision‑makers.
• Develop bespoke engagement plans, identifying events, introductions, partnerships and content opportunities that matter most to each brand.
• Drive retention through proactive engagement monitoring, early risk identification and quarterly member health checks.
• Conduct regular face‑to‑face meetings (minimum five per week), capturing insights and spotting opportunities.
• Represent the organisation at member meetings, industry events and gatherings as a confident, knowledgeable ambassador.
• Own quarterly Member Socials end‑to‑end, and contribute to flagship event planning including table plans and guest experience.
• Support onboarding of new members and assist with proposals and pitches for prospective members.
• Work closely with events, communications, government affairs and partnerships teams to deliver seamless member experiences.
• Mentor junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and modelling best practice.
• Manage renewals, invoicing and reporting for your portfolio with accuracy and diligence.
• Maintain meticulous CRM records to ensure insights and interactions are captured and shared across the organisation.
