Working Pattern: Hybrid | 35 hours per week
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Membership Officer or Membership Administrator to join a well-established Royal College based in Central London. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll play an important role in delivering a high-quality service to members, managing key membership processes, and helping to ensure a positive member experience.
It's a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing membership or professional body experience, gain exposure to a varied workload, and contribute to an organisation that supports and represents professionals across the UK.
Overview
You will provide key administrative and financial support across membership and quality improvement programmes, working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing membership registrations, renewals, and related processes
- Maintaining accurate membership databases, records, and documentation
- Responding to member and internal enquiries, providing a high standard of customer service
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across a busy professional environment
- Liaising with Finance and programme teams to support the effective delivery of services
- Supporting invoicing, Purchase Orders (POs), and financial administration
- Organising meetings and providing minute-taking support
- Preparing spreadsheets, reports, and other administrative documentation
- Supporting conferences, events, and wider organisational projects
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience within a membership organisation, professional body, Royal College, healthcare environment, or similarly complex organisation, together with experience organising meetings and taking minutes
- Previous administrative or membership experience
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional, approachable and service-focused manner
- Confidence working independently and using initiative
- Experience with financial administration, invoices, or purchase orders (POs)
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
