Membership Recruiter – Turn Your People Skills Into Real Impact

Do you love talking to people? Do you thrive outdoors, enjoy variety, and want a role where your natural communication skills genuinely make a difference?

If you’re warm, engaging, and passionate about protecting wildlife, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

At Wildlife Fundraising (Central) we believe great recruiters come from all kinds of backgrounds — what matters most is your attitude, your energy, and your ability to connect with others. If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.

What you’ll do

As a Membership Recruiter, you’ll represent your local Wildlife Trust at pre-booked venues and events — inspiring members of the public to become monthly supporters.

  • No two days are the same. One day you’ll be at a bustling garden centre, the next at a local show, farm shop, or wildlife event.
  • Every conversation you start helps protect nature and wildlife on your doorstep.

What we offer

  • Excellent pay with unlimited earning potential
  • Uncapped commission — our top performers regularly earn £40+ per hour
  • Average earnings of £17 per hour (£32,000 FTE)
  • £15.00 per hour guaranteed minimum during your first 60 days
  • £13.00 per hour minimum safety-net rate thereafter

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
