JAB Boxing Club is a London-based fitness destination that began in Mayfair with a mission to build a community empowered by boxing and its training philosophy. The club focuses on authenticity, bringing experienced boxing coaches into the fitness industry to transform how people train, live, and perform. In 2026, JAB will open an 18,000 sq ft flagship gym in EC1, creating a larger hub for members and coaches. Founded by former national amateur boxing champion George Veness, JAB is driven by genuine passion for delivering a high-quality, boxing-led fitness concept. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Membership Sales Consultant role based in London at JAB’s flagship gym. The Membership Sales Consultant will engage prospective members in person and via phone or digital channels, conduct gym tours, and clearly explain membership options, pricing, and club benefits. The role also involves:
- Supporting member onboarding
- Collaborating with coaches and front-of-house teams to deliver a welcoming experience
- Representing JAB’s brand values in all interactions
The Membership Sales Consultant is expected to:
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Contribute ideas to local marketing and outreach initiatives
- Help build a strong community within the club
Qualifications
- Membership sales and customer service skills, including lead management, prospect conversion, and relationship building.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present membership options clearly and handle objections confidently.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including accurate data entry, appointment scheduling, and use of CRM or sales software.
- Basic marketing and outreach skills, such as supporting local events, social media promotions, and referral programs.
- Interest in boxing, fitness, or sports, with the ability to speak authentically about training and the club’s philosophy.
- Ability to work on-site in London, including some evenings and weekends, and to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Prior experience in membership sales, retail sales, or hospitality is beneficial; experience in the fitness industry is an advantage.
- Strong work ethic, goal-oriented mindset, and commitment to providing a welcoming, inclusive experience for all members.
