About The Role
This full-time Membership Sales Executive role in Wolverhampton suits an experienced internal sales, telesales or account management professional with a commercial focus. The successful candidate manages inbound enquiries, conducts telephone-based discovery calls and converts leads into new business. They proactively contact prospective and lapsed customers, developing a structured pipeline through the CRM, and identify additional revenue streams including events, training, sponsorship, advertising and partnerships. Strong communication, persuasion and relationship-building skills are essential, alongside confidence in telephone sales. The position offers £28,000 annually plus 27 days holiday and bank holidays. Working hours follow a standard full-time pattern, based at the company's Wolverhampton site.

We are looking for a confident and motivated Internal Sales Executive to join a successful organisation based in Wolverhampton.
You will manage inbound enquiries, develop a sales pipeline and convert opportunities into new business, while also identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue through events, training, sponsorship, advertising and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound enquiries and convert leads into new business.
- Conduct telephone-based discovery calls and understand customer requirements.
- Proactively contact prospective and lapsed customers.
- Manage and develop a structured pipeline using the CRM.
- Promote and sell events, training and commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with Marketing to maximise leads and campaigns.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and produce pipeline/KPI reports.
- Prepare quotes and proforma invoices and ensure a smooth customer handover.

We Are Looking For Someone With
- Previous internal sales, telesales, sales or account management experience.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- A confident, proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- The ability to build relationships and convert enquiries into sales.
Experience of selling events, sponsorship, advertising or membership services would be advantageous but is not essential.
