Membership Sales & Retention Executive in Radlett, Hertfordshire - Private Golf & Country Club
£30k (uncapped bonus, realistic OTE £40k)
Location: Radlett, Hertfordshire, just outside Watford and easily reached from the M1 and M25.
Our client is a well-established private golf and country club set in beautiful Hertfordshire parkland, with a loyal membership base and a strong reputation in the local area. They're looking for a Membership Sales & Retention Executive who can bring in new members, keep existing ones happy, and help shape how the club promotes itself to the wider community.
This is a role for someone who can switch comfortably between two different gears. You'll need the drive and confidence to sell golf and society memberships, and the discipline to keep contracts, CRM records and payments running smoothly behind the scenes. There's genuine scope to put your own stamp on the role too, with the club keen for fresh ideas on marketing and community engagement rather than just following what's gone before.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
