About the Role
We are looking for someone who can maintain our membership database, process applications, and update the management team.
What difference will you make?
Your input will reduce the day-to-day pressure on the directors, enabling them to concentrate on their main duties. You will ensure all membership matters are dealt with promptly, thus making sure our members feel valued and have a named point of contact.
This will include contacting some people whose membership has lapsed due to a change in system.

Experience
- Communications & marketing (writing newsletters, running social media, engaging with members)
- Database / CRM development (managing membership records effectively)

What will you be doing?
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a good command of English, both written and verbal. They will work closely with our directors to maintain our membership database and process new applications in a timely and professional manner. They will also need to respond to membership questions as well as help with technical issues on membership accounts.
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate excellent computer skills and experience. This will help the directors in the maintenance of our membership database, particularly by ensuring lapsed memberships are followed up promptly. A proactive approach to provide regular communications and updates with our membership is also a key requirement. Knowledge of disability and social rights would be useful, but not essential.
