An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered community mental health nurse to join our dedicated Memory and Primary Care Network Dementia Team based at Elizabeth Quarter in Scunthorpe.

We are proud that the team has achieved accreditation through the Memory Services National Accreditation Programme (MSNAP).

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified registered mental health nurse to develop their knowledge and skills within a community-based setting. You may currently work in Older Adult or Adult Mental Health, and this post provides the chance to join a highly specialised and experienced Older Adult Mental Health Team in the community.

The Memory Team includes several experienced Band 6 nurses who undertake initial assessments, memory medication reviews, antipsychotic and diagnostic reviews and appointments, and Section 117 reviews. We are a busy, dedicated team that supports one another through clinical and managerial supervision, clinical forums, and multidisciplinary team working. We work closely with our consultant psychiatrists, nurse consultant, and clinical lead nurse to provide safe, holistic care for our patients. The post holder will be supported to further develop their nursing skills in delivering interventions, with the opportunity to work towards a Non-Medical Prescriber role within the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
