MENA Public Policy and Operations Specialist - Arabic Speaking
A leading global technology company is looking for an Arabic-English policy professional to support its MENA Public Policy team.
This role sits at the intersection of regional policy, trust and safety, stakeholder escalations, and operational delivery. You will monitor emerging risks across the MENA region, assess sensitive content and account-related cases, and coordinate with internal teams to move issues towards a clear resolution.
Alongside this policy work, you will support the team's day-to-day operations across projects, budgets, contracts, invoicing, and regional planning.
The Offer:
- Role will start on a contract through to July 2027
- Salary of £47,000 pa
- UK remote, with collaboration across MENA time zones
What you will do
- Track policy, regulatory, and online-safety developments across the MENA region.
- Identify emerging platform risks, including fraud, scams, hacking, and other forms of online harm.
- Triage sensitive content and account-related requests from regional stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal specialists, identify the correct owners, and drive cases through to closure.
- Support account verification, ownership, and access-restoration escalations.
- Produce clear research, case documentation, and stakeholder updates.
- Manage several policy and operational workstreams as priorities change.
- Support budgets, contracts, invoicing, calendars, and regional events.

What you will bring
- Professional fluency in Arabic and English, including strong written communication.
- Practical knowledge of MENA political, social, cultural, and policy environments.
- Relevant experience in public policy, government affairs, trust and safety, content policy, platform operations, or a related field.
- Strong research, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Evidence of sound judgement when handling sensitive or ambiguous issues.
- The organisation and adaptability to work across multiple teams and deadlines.
- Confidence working independently in a fast-moving, matrix environment.

Experience with technology platforms, content moderation, governments, regulators, online safety, or AI policy would be particularly valuable.
