Role Description
The Menswear Design Intern will support the design team in developing collections that reflect DRIMAE’s values of timelessness and intentionality. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Assisting with concept development
- Creating sketches and technical drawings
- Preparing mood boards
- Supporting fabric and trim selection

The intern will help with:
- Research into materials, silhouettes, and construction details
- Organizing samples
- Maintaining design archives
Additional responsibilities include:
- Preparing CAD layouts
- Supporting fittings and product development meetings
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners as needed
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom.
Qualifications
- Strong visual design abilities, including Graphic Design and working confidently with Graphics for fashion applications.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools relevant to fashion design, such as digital sketching and technical flats.
- Research skills to explore materials, silhouettes, cultural references, and market trends that align with DRIMAE’s brand ethos.
- Foundational understanding or interest in Architecture or structural design concepts, applied to garment construction and form.
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design or related program, with a portfolio demonstrating menswear design work.
- Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a studio environment.
- Comfort working hands-on with samples, pattern teams, and technical specifications; basic knowledge of garment construction is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a diverse, inclusive on-site team setting.
