Support Production Manager.
Passionate about products, sustainability, and a creative approach to problem solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor critical path and ensure deadlines are met at every stage of the production.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers and factories in the UK and abroad.
- Negotiate with suppliers for workable MOQs and costs whilst maintaining quality.
- Seasonal set up – create production workbook and dockets / production administration alongside production and design team.
- Manage trim raw materials required – place orders to meet production deadlines, manage shipments and liaise with manufacturers.
- Manage trim stock levels.
- Create MID codes, check and update HTS and Intrastat codes for every SKU.
- Add required trim information to fully factored costings.
- Follow fully factored costings alongside Production Manager.
- Attend and contribute to production fit meeting and implement outcomes.
- Proactively follow up orders weekly with factories, chase PPS, shipment samples, QC reports and any documents for approval prior to shipment.
- Ensure product is manufactured to the required quality. Measure garments against approved production specs.
- Factory visits and QC trips, both UK and overseas.
- Liaise with logistic companies for shipment of goods.
- Maintain updates on Production Schedule and Summary alongside the Production Manager.
- Assist and support design & wholesale teams where necessary.
- Communicate with marketing and retail teams on all product information, fits and changes, and work closely on phasing plan to ensure smooth launches.
- Actively source new suppliers for all products, prep tech packs and anything else required.
- Coordinate customer return and repairs with factories.
- General admin relating to production, and as required by team.

Production team member requirements:
- Will ideally have a fashion related degree and have worked in a similar role in menswear production.
- Highly organized individual with a structured and methodical working style, as well as a focused and detail orientated approach.
- Great team player, able to interact with other departments – design, logistics, finance, marketing, retail and wholesale teams.
- Highly numerate and able to demonstrate problem solving ability.
- Strong verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.
- Be flexible and adaptable to perform duties and responsibilities according to the needs of the business.
- Computer literate, Zedonk and Microsoft Office intermediate skills preferred.
