Role: Mental Health Counselor

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $55,000 – $90,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Mental Health Counselor to provide remote therapy and counseling to clients across our care platform. The role combines clinical skill with empathetic presence — supporting clients through assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy via secure video using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT)
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other clinicians
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state licensing, and clinical standards
  • Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and continuing education

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Active independent clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent)
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
  • 2+ years post-licensure clinical experience
  • Strong telehealth experience and comfort with video-based therapy
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards
  • Specialty training in trauma, substance use, or specific populations is a plus
