Mental Health Night Team Leader
Location: Lighthouse Care, Manchester
Pay: £14.20 per hour
Shift Pattern: 8:00pm – 8:00am
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Night Team Leader to join our team at Lighthouse Care in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader with a background in mental health, complex needs, alcohol or substance misuse who is ready to take the next step in their career.
As a Team Leader, you will lead shifts, support and guide colleagues and help ensure the people we support receive safe, high-quality and person-centred care. You will play an important role in supporting individuals with their recovery, independence and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the service.
- Supervise, support and mentor care and support colleagues.
- Review and update care plans and oversee key working responsibilities.
- Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
- Monitor care standards and complete relevant audits.
- Support staff rotas, training, induction and development.
- Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments and work towards their personal goals.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety and best practice.
- Work closely with the General Manager, multidisciplinary teams and external professionals.
- Encourage and support engagement in recovery programmes and meaningful activities.
- Promote independence, choice and person-centred support.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working in Health and Social Care, ideally supporting adults with mental health, substance misuse or complex needs.
- Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or similar.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- A compassionate, reliable and person-centred approach.
- The confidence to lead a team and remain calm in challenging situations.
- Experience in Medication Management
