Maplebrook Care Home
Maplebrook Care Home is a modern, purpose built home in Wolverhampton, providing high quality residential and specialist care for up to 81 residents within a supportive and welcoming environment.
Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Contract
- £22.71 per hour
- Contracted to 24 hours per week
- Nightshift
- Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Mental Health Nurse, you will deliver high quality, person centred care within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of mental health conditions and complex needs.
- You will assess, plan and review care, supporting both the clinical and emotional wellbeing of residents.
- Working in a structured environment, you will help maintain stability, promote positive outcomes and respond appropriately to changes in behaviour or mental health.
- Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, ensuring safe, consistent and effective care is delivered at all times.
- You will contribute to behaviour support strategies, risk management and the overall therapeutic environment, using your skills and judgement to support residents in a calm and professional manner.
- Working closely with colleagues, families and external professionals, you will ensure clear communication, accurate documentation and continuity of care, contributing to a safe and supportive environment where dignity, respect and wellbeing are prioritised.

What We Are Looking For
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC PIN
- Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills
- Confidence supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
- Experience in mental health or complex care is beneficial
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering high quality, person centred care
