Our team is seeking a full-time Mental Health Practitioner to work the day shift. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorder. You will work alongside a team of professionals to provide services in the areas of mental health, co-occurring disorders, monitoring medication compliance, and independent living skills. Responsibilities
- Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
- Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
- Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
- Monitors medication compliance and report any side effects.
- Facilitate residential program activities, classes and groups
- Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
- Responds appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.

Qualifications
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
- 1 year (2000 hours) experience working with adults with a severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
- Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of MN.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Pay:
$25.11 - $30.13 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
