Job Description

Mental Health Coach

Remote/ Homeworking (Organised travel is required with notice)

Salary: £28,000 per annum + Package

Working Pattern: Full Time or Part Time considered

Do you have the drive and passion for a real challenge working with participants to support them with their mental health, and meet the essential criteria for this position? We would welcome applications from individuals who are current trainees/ newly qualified Psychotherapist or Counsellor, if so apply and see what a rewarding role this could be.

As our Mental Health Coach, you'll play a key part in supporting participants with mental health challenges.

  • Conducting an initial holistic assessment with the participant
  • Developing a Support Plan and Communication Plan with the participant, focusing on improving their health and enabling them to stay in, or return to work
  • Providing face-to-face, telephone and electronic chat-based interventions to participants.
  • Offering advice and guidance to participants regarding their mental health conditions and empowering individuals to manage their health more independently and effectively

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Mental Health related field, supporting people to overcome Mental Health challenges and develop coping strategies.
  • Experience of directly supporting and working with participants who have mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
