About the Role
The Intensive Psychological Therapies Service is a forward thinking, recovery-focussed, dynamic individual and group treatment service for people with complex trauma and long-standing interpersonal difficulties. Our therapies include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (Ro-DBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Mental Health Support Worker to join our team for up to 37.5 hours per week to support the multi-disciplinary team with a wide variety of tasks. The role may be split into 2 part-time positions.
The postholder’s main responsibility will be for the administration of the Skills webinars including managing the designated email inbox, liaising with service users and staff, setting up and sending the MS Teams links and any associated material, recording attendance on the electronic patient system, processing referrals and providing data relating to the webinars.
Currently the role is based at Branksome Clinic in Poole.

About the Service
Training, supervision and research are given a high priority within the service. IPTS has close links with both Southampton and Bournemouth Universities and are often involved in outcome and process research projects. In 2000 we were awarded an NHS Beacon for being a model of good practice. We are a multidisciplinary team, dedicated to providing high quality, evidence-based therapies for this patient group.
