Our care home, based in Heath Hayes, provides residential care for 33 adults with complex mental and physical health needs.
Mental Health Support Worker Contract
- £12.71 per hour
- Full Time
- Shift Times: 07:30AM - 21:00PM
- Benefits: Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided and onsite parking
- Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks (pro rata)
Role Overview
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide high quality, person centred support to individuals living with complex mental health needs within a structured and specialist care environment. You will play an important role in helping individuals feel safe, supported and valued while promoting emotional wellbeing, independence and stability.
- Support individuals with daily routines, personal care where required, meaningful engagement and emotional wellbeing
- Ensure support plans are followed safely and consistently
- Build positive relationships with residents
- Recognise changes in behaviour or mental wellbeing and respond appropriately to help maintain a calm, supportive and therapeutic environment

What We Are Looking For
- Applications are welcomed from both new and experienced candidates
- Previous experience supporting individuals with mental health needs is beneficial but not essential
- A calm, patient and compassionate approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to respond positively within challenging or complex situations
- A reliable and professional approach with commitment to person centred care
