Are you an experienced mental health professional ready to take the next step in your leadership career?
Do you have the passion to motivate a team, drive high standards of care, and support people to achieve greater independence? If so, we would love to hear from you.
We're looking for a dedicated and inspirational Mental Health Team Leader to join our purpose-built, modern rehabilitation service, Heathy House, in Halifax. Supporting up to 10 men with mental health needs, Heathy House provides a structured and recovery-focused environment where individuals can build confidence, develop life skills and prepare for more independent living.
As Team Leader, you'll work closely with the Registered Manager to lead from the front, support and develop colleagues, and help create an environment where both residents and staff can thrive.
Working Pattern
37.5 hours per week on a structured four-week rolling rota.
- You'll benefit from knowing your shifts in advance, with a mixture of early, day and late shifts.
- The earliest start time is 6:00am and the latest finish time is 10:00pm, with the rota operating predominantly Monday to Friday and including approximately one Saturday shift every four weeks.
- Flexibility is important in this role, as occasional cover may be required to support the needs of the service along with the requirement to participate in a regional on-call service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader who wants to make a genuine difference whilst being part of an organisation renowned for delivering outstanding mental health services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
