- Deliver high-quality 1:1 interventions and group sessions for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, emotional dysregulation and wellbeing concerns.
- Complete initial assessments, identify presenting needs, and contribute to psychologically informed support plans.
- Develop positive therapeutic relationships that empower young people to make informed decisions regarding their wellbeing and support needs.
- Assess and manage risk appropriately, ensuring concerns are escalated and managed in accordance with safeguarding procedures.
- Manage an individual caseload effectively, maintaining high standards of organisation, prioritisation, and record keeping.
- Signpost and refer young people to specialist services and external agencies where required, working within the limits of competence and professional practice.
Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

- Contribute to multi-agency meetings and discussions, providing updates on engagement, wellbeing outcomes, and support plans.
- Build positive working relationships with school staff and key stakeholders to strengthen programme impact and accessibility.
- Contribute to peer supervision and reflective practice activities, helping to maintain high standards of service delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
