MEP Operations Manager
We're looking for an MEP Operations Manager to join our Construction business as part of Kier Mechanical & Electrical
Location: London, with required within the region.
Hours: Full Time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical business unit, supporting them in building projects that support and develop the local communities. You'll manage operational resources including people, finances, and physical assets to fulfil the pipeline of contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while maximising customer satisfaction and project profitability. You'll manage several projects during preconstruction and construction phases.
Responsibilities
As An MEP Operations Manager, You'll Be Working Within The London Region, Supporting Them In Building Projects That Support And Develop The Local Communities. Your Day To Day Will Include
- Leading the safety, health, and environmental culture, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with statutory regulations and Kier's policies
- Managing the efficient execution of contracts, providing advice and support to project teams throughout pre-construction and construction phases
- Taking full responsibility for all production functions from contract award through to practical completion
- Managing project finances including revenue, costs, cashflow, and prelim spend, taking proactive action to maximise profitability
- Undertaking line management responsibilities for project staff, ensuring effective performance management and development plans are in place

Requirements
This role of MEP Operations Manager is great for you if:
- You hold a Degree/HND in Construction
- You're professionally qualified or working towards membership of a Professional Body
- You hold a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card and Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- You have previous Operational delivery and pre-construction experience within the Building Services field
- You have excellent management and communication skills with the ability to proactively manage production teams on several live construction sites
- You have sound commercial awareness with a commitment to health & safety and risk management
