AA Euro Group is currently seeking an MEP Package Manager to join a client of ours delivering large scale infrastructure works across the Birmingham area.
The MEP Package Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, management, and successful delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) works within the project. The role ensures that MEP packages are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining compliance with all statutory and client requirements.
Option to work on either PAYE or LTD

Key Accountabilities
Project Delivery
- Manage all MEP packages from procurement through to commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, public health, and specialist subcontractors.
- Develop and monitor MEP programme activities to align with the overall construction programme.
- Identify and manage project risks, opportunities, and constraints related to MEP works.
- Ensure timely completion of installations and testing activities.

Commercial Management
- Support procurement activities and subcontractor selection.
- Review subcontractor valuations, variations, and change control processes.
- Monitor package budgets and report on cost performance.
- Ensure value engineering opportunities are identified and implemented.
Technical Management
- Review and coordinate MEP design information and technical submissions.
- Resolve design and installation conflicts through collaboration with consultants and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, building regulations, and client requirements.
- Oversee commissioning plans and ensure successful testing and validation of systems.
Health, Safety & Quality
- Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture.
- Ensure all MEP works are carried out in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Conduct inspections and quality audits.
- Manage defect resolution and snagging activities.

Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for MEP-related matters.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, project teams, utility providers, and subcontractors.
- Attend project progress meetings and provide regular status reports.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven experience managing MEP packages on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of building services systems and construction methodologies.
- Experience with design coordination, commissioning, and handover processes.
- Excellent commercial awareness and contract management skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
