Shape projects long before construction begins!

If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.

We're working with one of the UK's fastest-growing specialist M&E contractors to recruit an MEP Pre Construction Manager.

This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious business that has experienced exceptional growth and established an outstanding reputation for delivering technically challenging projects across the defence, education, commercial and public sectors.

Operating as part of a highly successful construction group, the business combines the agility of a specialist contractor with the security, investment and long-term pipeline of a major principal contractor. Continued growth has created a brand-new opportunity for someone to establish and lead its pre construction function.

This isn't a traditional Project Manager role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys the front end of projects, working closely with clients, consultants, design teams, commercial and procurement to ensure projects are fully coordinated, commercially robust and ready for successful delivery.

Whilst this is an MEP role, there is a strong electrical bias, so we're particularly interested in candidates with an electrical background or those who have significant experience managing electrical building services packages as part of wider MEP projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
