Freelance MEP Project Manager | Data Centre | Acton

I am seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical package for 12 months on a high-profile data centre project in Acton. They will be responsible for managing MEP works from planning through to commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all MEP activities across the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
  • Oversee programme delivery, cost control, and risk management.
  • Drive quality assurance, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and data centre standards.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular reporting to senior management.

Requirements:

  • The rights to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Proven experience managing MEP packages on data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, commissioning, and handover processes.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Relevant construction or engineering qualifications preferred.
