Project Manager - Kier Mechanical & Electrical
Location: Aldermaston, Berkshire
Hours: 42.5 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

About Us
KME are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting internal regional businesses across the UK and the Strategic Projects business on complex and challenging projects ranging from £5m to £150m. With over 50 years of experience, we have a full design, construct, and commissioning capability and a proven track record for delivering successful projects. We're looking for a talented Project Manager to take ownership and responsibility for managing project resources across the whole lifecycle, safely delivering compliant, profitable and timely workstreams while maximising customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the KME Team, supporting them in delivering complex MEP Projects safely and successfully. Your day to day will include:
- Leading and motivating project staff to maximise planned gross margin and achieve budgeted profitability by increasing value, reducing cost, and managing risk in a safe and ethical manner
- Managing client relationships proactively to ensure expectations are achieved, including changes to deliverables and decision making
- Working with design, commercial and construction teams to establish comprehensive plans for time, cost, quality, safety and sustainability targets
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with Kier Group's SHE policy and procedures, all legal requirements and best practice
- Providing regular, accurate consolidated reports and forecasts to area management, Kier Group, and customers

What We're Looking For
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
- You have previous experience delivering MEP Projects within a Contractor.
- You hold a valid SMSTS/CSCS card.
- You have a clear understanding of all main forms of contract (JCT, NEC etc) and technical understanding of MEPH services and their interfaces
- You bring a proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative approach to work with the ability to manage multiple staff members and tasks simultaneously
- You're an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentational skills, able to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- You're organised, solution-focused and understand the importance of forecasting and risk management, with the ability to add value to every project
