We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join the team delivering a major project in the North East of England.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MEP professional to take a key project leadership role on a high-profile data centre development, working within a fast-paced and technically demanding environment.

The Role

As MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health services, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage MEP installation and delivery across the project.
  • Coordinate MEP subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project stakeholders.
  • Manage programme, progress, quality and commercial performance.
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design, specifications and project requirements.
  • Drive coordination between mechanical, electrical and other construction disciplines.
  • Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
  • Identify and resolve technical and programme issues.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.
  • Attend and lead project meetings, providing clear progress updates and reporting.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or Senior MEP professional.
  • Strong experience delivering major construction or data centre projects.
  • A comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
  • Excellent project management, coordination and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple contractors and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of construction programmes, quality and H&S requirements.
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
