The Role

We are seeking an experienced Revit MEP Technician to join our expanding team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects involving BIM coordination, detailed modelling, and technical drawing production. Flexible working arrangements are available, including full-time, part-time, and temporary-to-permanent opportunities.

The successful candidate will be required to attend our office in Whyteleafe on a regular basis and work closely with engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver high-quality project outputs.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' professional experience using Revit within the building services industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve design and coordination issues.
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and deliver projects within agreed deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous project management experience.
  • Experience designing and modelling complex plantrooms.
  • Knowledge of electrical building services design, including lighting and small power systems, using Revit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed MEP models and installation drawings using Revit.
  • Produce coordinated layouts, schematics, and technical drawings from project information and design requirements.
  • Assist in resolving coordination and design challenges by providing practical engineering solutions.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather project information and verify existing conditions.
  • Maintain compliance with company BIM standards, procedures, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of BIM processes.
