6 month fixed-term contract working a minimum of 2 days a week working from our Store Support Centre at Croxley Park

At Signet Jewelers UK & Ireland, we're passionate about creating special moments for our customers through some of the nation's best-loved jewellery brands. We're looking for an analytical and commercially minded Merchandise Analyst to join our Merchandising team and help shape smarter decisions across our product, pricing, promotional, and inventory strategies.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves uncovering insights from data and translating them into actionable recommendations that drive sales, margin growth, customer retention, and business performance. Working closely with senior leaders across Merchandising, Buying, Planning, Allocation and Finance, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities that influence critical commercial decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Merchandise Analyst, you'll use advanced analytics and commercial insight to help maximise product performance and unlock growth opportunities across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering insightful hindsight, line planning, and in-season performance analysis.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve sales, margin, inventory productivity, and customer growth.
  • Partnering with Merchandising and Buying teams to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Analysing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to drive optimisation opportunities.
  • Evaluating promotional performance and recommending ways to maximise effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Using customer, inventory, and space productivity metrics to influence future merchandising strategies.
  • Monitoring market share performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Supporting inventory optimisation through data-led recommendations.
  • Identifying store clustering and localisation opportunities to enhance performance.
  • Producing ad hoc analysis and insights for senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
