Job Description
Who are Seraphine
Redefining maternity wear for a new generation, Seraphine's collections are intelligently designed and developed in London to help you maintain your sense of self – and style – through pregnancy. Inspired by the fashion landscape, these trend-led pieces are full of hidden details that allow the fit to cleverly adapt to the changing needs of pregnancy and breastfeeding – always working with a woman's body, rather than against it. Expect to find breezy dresses with easy nursing access, directional denim with built-in bump support, and maternity essentials including super soft lingerie and laid-back leggings.
Role Responsibilities
Product and Range Management
- Act as the guardian of the critical path, liaising with suppliers to ensure it is up to date and stock is delivered in a timely manner
- Support your Assistant Merchandiser/Merchandiser with collating sales reporting, general administration, and analysis
- Ensure item numbers and purchase orders are raised and approved in a timely manner
Trading & Insight
- Identify trends and review sales performance for your department categories
- Collaborate with the Buying department on your category, working with the Buying Assistant to drive forward trade
Collaboration & Supplier Management
- Build relationships with suppliers, serving as the go-to person for any queries around stock intake
- Work as part of a strong team, collaborating with the buying department on your category, working with the Buying Assistant to drive forward trade
Technical Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
- Strong team ethos – working together and building excellent relationships with your team along with all other key partnerships.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- An awareness of high street, catwalk and competitor key trends.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage your own time.
- Retail/store experience would be beneficial
- For Senior Merchandise Assistant vacancies you will need previous experience within a similar merchandising or allocation role
