dSb are proudly and exclusively working on a brand-new Merchandise / Planning Manager opportunity with a fantastic retail business in Northern Ireland.

This is a role for someone who enjoys building, shaping, and improving rather than simply stepping into an established function.

You’ll take ownership of developing the Merchandise Planning function, establish and lead a Merchandise Administration team, and play a key role in driving more data-led, commercially focused decision-making across the business. This is a genuine opportunity to make your mark. You’ll be building processes and structure from the ground up, working closely with the Buying team and helping to shape how the business approaches:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise planning & budgeting
  • OTB management
  • Replenishment & stock availability
  • Markdown & clearance strategies
  • Sales, margin & stock analysis
  • Reporting and BI
  • Process improvement & emerging technology
  • AI and data-led ways of working
  • Team development and coaching

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
