RELOCATION ASSISTANCE / HYBRID WORKING

This is a key role within the Merchandising function, with responsibility for divisional planning and trading to drive sales, maximise margin and deliver strong stock performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement department and product strategies for sales, profit and stock, using historical data, trend analysis and commercial insight to deliver agreed objectives.
  • Lead range, sales, space and profit planning across the division.
  • Ensure range and product briefs are delivered on time and to plan, maintaining the right balance, depth and breadth of assortment down to store level.
  • Plan cost prices, selling prices and volumes in line with agreed parameters, aligned to selling periods and targeted sell-through.
  • Monitor and analyse sales, stock, space and profit performance, responding quickly to opportunities and risks.
  • Plan and manage promotional activity in line with range plans and commercial objectives, evaluating performance and adapting as required.
  • Maintain optimum stock availability through effective allocation, replenishment and open-to-buy control, adjusting intake in line with performance.
  • Manage monthly stock buy requirements by division and profile, ensuring content, volume and timing support agreed objectives.
  • Build strong supplier relationships, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of store portfolios, performance and competitor activity through regular analysis and store.
  • Lead, manage and develop the Allocator team, driving accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
