Merchandiser
I am thrilled to be working with a fast-growing DTC business that is looking for a Merchandiser to join their team in Hertfordshire, with 2 days per week in the office.
In this newly created role, you will play a critical part in ensuring stock is accurately forecasted, effectively managed and consistently available to support continued growth. Owning forecasting and stock flow, you’ll ensure the business is well-stocked and ready to meet demand, while using data-led insights to influence buying decisions and maximise commercial performance.

In this role, you will…
- Own stock management across high-SKU categories, driving availability and sell-through while managing stock risk.
- Manage WSSI and trade plans, reviewing performance against sales, intake and margin targets.
- Produce and regularly update forecasts based on trading performance, trends and demand.
- Analyse key trading KPIs to identify risks, opportunities and actions to improve performance.
- Partner with Buying and Design on range planning, option count, depth and stock requirements.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations and Finance to manage stock flow, budgets and margin planning.
About you:

- 3+ years’ merchandising experience, or a strong Assistant Merchandiser ready to step up.
- Experience within a fast-paced, high-performing retail environment managing high SKU volumes.
- Strong WSSI, forecasting and stock planning experience, with advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Commercial and results-driven, with a proven ability to turn data and trading insights into action.
- Proactive and confident communicator, comfortable challenging, influencing and managing complexity.
- Experience within home, furniture or large-item retail, high-growth businesses or product development would be advantageous.
