We are partnering with a renowned heritage brand, looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join a fast-paced, multi-channel retail business on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
The ideal candidate will come from a high-street or volume retail environment, ideally within fashion, and will be commercially focused, analytical and confident managing a multi-channel product range.
The Role
- Own and manage the merchandising strategy across multiple channels
- Drive sales, margin, stock and availability to maximise commercial performance
- Build and manage WSSI, sales and stock forecasts
- Analyse weekly trading performance and identify opportunities and risks
- Manage intake, OTB and stock flow in line with the trading strategy
- Work closely with Buying, Ecommerce, Marketing and Supply Chain teams
- Monitor product performance and make recommendations around markdowns, replenishment and stock management
- Present regular trading updates and provide clear commercial insight to the wider business

- Proven experience as a Merchandiser within a high-street, volume or multi-channel retailer
- Fashion experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of WSSI, forecasting, OTB and stock management
- Highly analytical with strong commercial awareness
- Confident working across multiple sales channels, including ecommerce
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, trading-focused environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong Excel skills and a data-driven approach
- Available to commit to a 12-month maternity cover contract
