We are partnering with a renowned heritage brand, looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join a fast-paced, multi-channel retail business on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

The ideal candidate will come from a high-street or volume retail environment, ideally within fashion, and will be commercially focused, analytical and confident managing a multi-channel product range.

The Role

  • Own and manage the merchandising strategy across multiple channels
  • Drive sales, margin, stock and availability to maximise commercial performance
  • Build and manage WSSI, sales and stock forecasts
  • Analyse weekly trading performance and identify opportunities and risks
  • Manage intake, OTB and stock flow in line with the trading strategy
  • Work closely with Buying, Ecommerce, Marketing and Supply Chain teams
  • Monitor product performance and make recommendations around markdowns, replenishment and stock management
  • Present regular trading updates and provide clear commercial insight to the wider business

  • Proven experience as a Merchandiser within a high-street, volume or multi-channel retailer
  • Fashion experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of WSSI, forecasting, OTB and stock management
  • Highly analytical with strong commercial awareness
  • Confident working across multiple sales channels, including ecommerce
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, trading-focused environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong Excel skills and a data-driven approach
  • Available to commit to a 12-month maternity cover contract
