Hush
Hush is an ambitious and distinctive fashion brand, with plans to double the business over the next few years. Founded 21 years ago, we are now established as one of the UK's leading online fashion retailers. We employ around 140 employees across head office and retail, creating and selling a beautiful range of women's clothing and accessories characterised by effortlessness, simplicity, and a laidback sense of style. Despite the challenges facing the retail industry, Hush has continued to grow โ and our company culture still reflects our entrepreneurial roots and relaxed aesthetic. We love hard-working and talented people with a can-do attitude and a passion for what they do.
About the Role
At Hush, we're looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our Planning team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded merchandiser who loves combining data with intuition to shape successful product ranges.
Working closely with Buying, Design, E-commerce, and Supply Chain, you'll play a key role in ensuring we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time to support our continued growth.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to our Merchandising Manager, you'll take ownership of your departments, building seasonal plans, managing the WSSI, and driving trading decisions that maximise sales, stock efficiency, and profitability. You'll collaborate across the business to deliver commercially balanced ranges while identifying opportunities to improve performance throughout the season.

Iโm in my final year doing Economics and I donโt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer โ it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโt need a masters. Letโs look at the ones youโd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
