Merchandiser

Location: London Area, with travel to stores across the UK

Salary: In the region of £45k

Job Type: Full-time


With ambitious growth plans over the next 12 months, we're now looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join us. Operating across retail, eCommerce and wholesale channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded merchandising professional who enjoys working closely with senior leadership, influencing product decisions, and driving business performance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, forecasting, stock management and product performance, working directly alongside the business owner and management team to ensure commercial objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage seasonal merchandise plans to maximise sales, profit and stock efficiency
  • Analyse sales performance, market trends and customer demand to identify opportunities and risks
  • Manage forecasting, stock intake and trading plans across retail and wholesale channels
  • Work closely with buying, product and sales teams to ensure product ranges meet commercial objectives
  • Monitor stock levels, sell-through rates and margin performance, making recommendations for action where required
  • Produce regular trading reports and present commercial insights to senior management
  • Support pricing, promotional and markdown strategies
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Assist in range planning and product assortment decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement within merchandising processes and reporting

About You

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Merchandising, Planning, Product Management or a similar commercial retail role
  • Previous experience within the fashion retail sector is essential
  • Experience working across both retail and wholesale environments
  • Comfortable working directly with business owners, directors or senior management teams
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent analytical and forecasting skills
  • Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, ambitious and able to work in a fast-paced environment
