MERCHANDISER

Premium Fashion Brand | Leeds

Salary: Negotiable - Dependant on experience

A great opportunity to join a premium fashion brand in Leeds during an exciting period of growth.

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to take ownership of merchandise planning, range construction, and in-season trading, while supporting and developing the Merchandising team. Working closely with Buying, Retail, and Operations, you will drive commercial performance and deliver key sales, stock, and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage in-season trading, identifying opportunities and risks to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Oversee stock, allocations, replenishment, IBTs, and markdown activity across stores and warehouse.
  • Manage WSSI, Open-to-Buy, linecards, and KPI forecasting.
  • Build seasonal range, distribution, and phasing plans aligned with customer demand and store profiles.
  • Partner with Buying, Retail, and Operations on future-season planning and delivery schedules.
  • Lead and develop the Merchandising Administrator, ensuring optimum stock levels across all channels.
  • Work closely with ASMs to optimize individual store performance, including seasonal store visits.

  • 3–4 years' merchandising experience, ideally within fashion or retail.
  • Strong in-season trading, planning, and ranging experience.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and Excel skills.
  • Experience with WSSI management, OTB, and linecards.
  • Commercially focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Previous experience managing or developing a merchandising team member.
