Merchandiser (E-Commerce & Supply Chain)

Reports to: Founder

Location: Manchester, Northern Quarter

Working arrangement: Full-time, Hybrid (2–3 days in office)

About Nero

Nero is redefining performance wear by replacing synthetic gym wear with luxury, high-performance natural fibers.

About the Role

We are hiring an autonomous, commercially sharp Merchandiser to take complete ownership of inventory planning, global supply chain execution, and trading operations.

You will not be shadowing someone or learning on the job, you will own the critical path from day one. You will sit at the intersection of cash flow and product, ensuring our purchase orders land on time, landed margins remain protected, stock allocations are optimized, and Shopify is primed for drops.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Inventory & Range Planning: Build and maintain forecasts. Analyze sell-through rates, lead times, and weeks of cover to direct reorders and new product buys.
  • Critical Path & Factory Management: Own the production schedule from PO issuance to final warehouse delivery. Proactively manage tier-1 factories and mitigate lead-time bottlenecks before they impact trade.
  • Global Logistics & Landed Margin Control: Manage international freight (air, sea, road) across key regions (UK, US, AUS). Negotiate routes with freight forwarders, streamline duty/HS code compliance, and continuously drive down landed cost per unit.
  • 3PL & Fulfillment Operations: Direct day-to-day warehouse operations, monitor intake SLAs, audit inventory reconciliations, and ensure seamless outbound fulfillment capacity for product launches.
  • Catalog Architecture & Trading: Maintain commercial integrity across the Shopify backend, overseeing product, variants, pricing structures, inventory allocations, collection pages, and launch readiness.
  • Commercial Trade Reporting: Deliver weekly trading insights, stock-to-sales ratios, and SKU-level performance data directly to leadership to drive commercial decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
