We have a core belief that our toxic, sedentary lifestyles are making humans, and the planet, sick. So we're on a mission to change it.

We're looking for a detail-driven Merchandiser to join our team - someone who ensures our products land in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantities, and helps us build commercial performance across our Outdoor & Live category.

This isn't just a numbers role. You'll help shape the future of how Merchandising operates at Vivobarefoot - applying AI, automation and data tools across forecasting and insight generation, and setting the standard for faster, smarter commercial decisions.

📍 Wrington, Bristol (Hybrid)

Where you'll play

  • Own Merchandising for the Outdoor & Live BU, across all channels
  • Partner with Product Line Managers to spot opportunities across GIM, pricing architecture, product mix and channel/regional mix
  • Partner with Marketing to build a go-to-market plan that optimises sales against BU strategy, ROS and budget
  • Align the Merch Plan with Demand, Capacity and company targets budget, blended margin, and beyond
  • Build relationships with regional leads to gather insight on local ROS and product opportunities
  • Lead trade reporting and performance reviews, flagging risk and opportunity across sales, stock and margin
  • Manage the BU-level stock position, using AI-driven insight where available
  • Coordinate the buy at BU level right products, right place, right time, right quantities - keeping cover, aged stock and budget all in check
  • Plan buy quantities and present sales forecasts for new ranges
  • Report on current-season sales and analyse the previous season's performance
  • Plan four buys a year for Outdoor & Live, maximising profit through pricing analysis and markdown reviews

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
