Are you a Merchandiser looking for an exciting new opportunity in a fast-paced business? If the answer is yes, then we want to speak to you!
We have a role for a Merchandiser to join our FMCG team. In this role, you will be working alongside the Buyer with the day-to-day running of a busy department. The role is full time, office based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24.
In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Assisting with the creation of weekly stock orders, managing orders into the business efficiently
- Driving performance for key trading periods i.e. new product range launches, seasonal peaks etc
- Working to tight restrictions ensuring stock is maintained throughout the year at the correct levels
- Analysing data & current trends to make the right decisions, identifying “gaps“ in current market
- Cultivating close working relationships with key suppliers to maximise sales/profit throughout the range
- Maintain and update WSSI’s & Line cards on a daily basis
- Working to calendars, which involves forecasting crucial lines for long periods
- Proficient in the use of Excel to manipulate reports into the desired information

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or a Junior Merchandiser eager to step up
- Results orientated with a track record of achieving targets & delivering growth
- Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Able to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, methodical with numbers
- Able to utilise data to fully understand customer behaviour and habits
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
- Experience within a FMCG or Retail environment is desired but not essential
