LOCATION: London, Hammersmith

WORKING PATTERN: Mon - Fri (37.5 hours), Eligible for virtual working / flexible working Reports to: SENIOR MERCHANDISER, DTC - GLOBAL

Role Purpose

The Merchandising Admin Assistant provides administrative and analytical support to the Ecommerce DTC Merchandising team, helping to ensure accurate product data, effective stock management and smooth day-to-day trading.

Working closely with Merchandising and cross-functional teams, the role supports product launches, sales and stock reporting, inventory availability and merchandising processes. Proficiency in Excel is a must.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date product, assortment, sales, stock and intake data across systems, trackers and reporting tools, supporting new product launches and weekly trade through accurate tracking of ranging, availability, product status and launch dates.
  • Monitor product performance, stock levels and availability, highlighting key risks and opportunities to the Merchandising team.
  • Support the tracking of inventory intake and deliveries, ensuring expected dates and quantities are accurately maintained.
  • Assist with the planning and administration of pre-orders and pre-sales, including tracking stock commitments and performance.
  • Support promotional and markdown activity, ensuring product and pricing information is accurately maintained.
  • Assist with ad hoc sales, stock, sell-through and product performance analysis.
  • Support the preparation of weekly trade meetings, range reviews and other key merchandising meetings.
  • Work closely with Planning, Ecommerce, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain teams to support product availability and key trading activity.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Merchandising team and contribute to continuous improvements in reporting, processes and ways of working.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Excellent ability to analyse and format raw data and propose commercial decisions.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident to take the initiative and adopt a flexible, ‘can do’ approach.
  • Organisational skills with a positive and proactive ethos; a value-adding and solution-orientated self-starter with high integrity.

  • Previous retail, E-commerce or merchandising experience is beneficial but not essential
