Merchandising Administration Assistant
MR PORTER are now seeking a talented Merchandising Administration Assistant to join the MR PORTER team based in their offices in London, Shepherds Bush. Reporting into the Merchandiser, you will be tasked with providing administrative support across all aspects of trading, merchandise planning and forecasting.

Responsibilities
- Generate accurate delivery forecasts to support effective business planning, stock management and resource allocation.
- Produce weekly delivery and performance reports, analyzing key trends and insights to support informed decision-making.
- Prioritize deliveries and workload in line with departmental objectives, trading priorities and business needs.
- Manage supplier deliveries to maximize product availability and full-price selling opportunities, proactively addressing delays and potential risks.
- Partner with Trade, Transport and other cross-functional teams to ensure shipping, customs and compliance requirements are met.
- Analyze returns data, resolve warehouse and delivery queries, and implement actions to reduce return rates and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage delivery-related negotiations, including late delivery discounts, cancellations, RTVs and SORs, while maintaining accurate stock records, product availability and website stock status.

- Strong analytical skills, exceptional numerical ability and confidence in interpreting data to drive commercial decisions.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage, analyze and present large volumes of data accurately.
- A collaborative team player who builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders across different functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of accuracy.
- A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate and address challenges.
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to prioritize, multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with colleagues, suppliers and business partners.
