Merchandising and Campaign Manager
Your team: The Merchandising team sits within our wider Partnerships division and is currently expanding its remit at a dynamic time for the business. The team is responsible for managing end-to-end marketing campaigns on behalf of the Times Holidays Product Manager. During this maternity cover period, the team is operating with a temporarily flattened structure, meaning you and the Merchandising Executives will report directly to the Head of Partnerships.
Your role: As the Merchandising and Campaign Manager, you will lead the visual presentation, commercial positioning, and promotional strategy for our travel products and services across all digital and print platforms. You will serve as the core bridge ensuring that curated travel itineraries, partner offers, and bespoke products are beautifully and commercially optimised across the Times Holidays website and the editorial channels of The Times.
Day to day you will:
- Manage the complete deployment process for digital and print marketing campaigns, including booking advertising space, briefing designers, and approving customer-facing offers.
- Collaborate with the Holidays Product team to ingest curated itineraries and translate them into highly engaging, actionable online assets on the Times Holidays homepage.
- Drive the overarching merchandising strategy to actively hit and exceed quarterly eCommerce revenue targets, conversion metrics, and shared team KPIs.
- Publish curated content into the CMS, ensuring strict compliance with The Times style guide, overseeing tracking URL generation, and maintaining active affiliate link integrity.
- Analyse traffic data, booking insights, and partner activity to compile performance updates, while maintaining financial administration for correct partner billing.
What we're looking for from you:
- An understanding of the online travel sector, including domestic and international trends, as well as specific categories like cruise, touring, and tailor-made itineraries.
- Proven experience managing marketing campaigns, briefing creative design teams, and optimising consumer-facing communications.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue tracking, forecasting, and analysing commercial contract metrics.
- Advanced technical proficiency in CMS management (such as WordPress), Google Workspace, and workflow platforms to efficiently oversee digital content publishing.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management, enabling you to effectively spot errors, uphold quality control, and ensure deadlines are met across the team.
- A collaborative and adaptable mindset, allowing you to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment and navigate a flat team structure seamlessly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
