Independent Contractor (Freelance) | Commission-Based | Remote

About Bargly

Bargly is building a hyperlocal discovery and loyalty platform for local shops. We help independent businesses get discovered by nearby shoppers, turn first-time visitors into regulars, and manage loyalty, offers, Flash Sales, events, affiliates and AI-powered marketing from a single platform. Our mission is simple: help local businesses compete with big chains using technology that is affordable, easy to use and actually drives people through the door.

The Mission

Your task if you choose to accept it is simple: find great local merchants and help them join Bargly.

From cafés and restaurants to bakeries, florists, gyms, salons and independent retailers, you'll identify businesses that would benefit from Bargly, introduce them to the platform, and help them become successful merchants. As an independent contractor, you'll build your own pipeline, organize your own work, and play a key role in growing Bargly across the UK and Ireland.

What you'll do

  • Identify local businesses that would be a great fit for Bargly.
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of prospective merchants.
  • Reach out through phone, WhatsApp, email, Instagram and, when appropriate, in person.
  • Introduce Bargly and clearly communicate its value to business owners.
  • Build relationships with local merchants and close new business.
  • Guide merchants through the sign-up and onboarding process.
  • Follow up until merchants are successfully activated.
  • Share market insights and merchant feedback with the founders.
  • Work towards agreed outreach, sign-up and activation goals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
