Plats: GBR - London (Remote)
We are looking for a Global M&A Analyst to join our growing M&A team and support the identification, evaluation and execution of acquisition opportunities across the business.
Working closely with the Global M&A Director and senior stakeholders, you will gain exposure to the full transaction lifecycle, from target evaluation and due diligence through transaction execution and post-acquisition integration.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA-qualified professional seeking their first move into industry. A strong accounting foundation, commercial mindset and genuine interest in corporate finance and acquisitions are critical to success in the role.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Business Cases
- Conduct financial and strategic analysis of acquisition opportunities
- Assess key value drivers, financial performance and growth potential
- Support financial modelling and valuation activities
- Develop business cases and investment recommendations
- Prepare materials for Investment Committee and Board discussions
Transaction Execution & Due Diligence
- Support the execution of mergers and acquisitions across the business
- Coordinate due diligence workstreams and information requests across multiple functions
- Review diligence findings and prepare concise summaries for senior stakeholders
- Support transaction activities, including approvals, documentation and closing processes
- Manage transaction timelines and stakeholder communication to ensure key milestones are achieved

Pipeline Development & Integration Support
- Support the review and prioritisation of acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic objectives
- Maintain target pipelines and conduct market mapping activities
- Research industries, competitors and consolidation opportunities
- Coordinate selected post-acquisition integration activities
- Track synergy initiatives and support continuous improvement of M&A tools, templates and processes
Your Skills & Experience
- ACA, ACCA qualification
- 4+ years of experience gained within audit, accounting, advisory or a related professional services environment
- Experience supporting SME to large corporate clients within audit, advisory, transaction services, corporate finance or a related field
- Strong understanding of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
- Strong financial analysis and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence communicating and presenting to senior stakeholders in English
- A genuine interest in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and strategic growth
