About us

Dyer Baade & Company is a London-based M&A advisory firm advising owners, CEOs and professional investors on transactions in the £20–200m valuation range, with a particular specialisation in deals that involve an exit to Private Equity and mid-market transactions in the wealth management sector. We focus selectively on mandates where strategic preparation, disciplined execution and competitive dynamics materially influence valuation and deal terms.

The firm is currently investing significantly in workflow automation, AI-enabled research, knowledge management and transaction execution infrastructure to further enhance quality, efficiency and scalability across advisory processes.

We are now hiring an M&A Associate to strengthen our deal execution capabilities and support the firm’s growth ambitions.

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious and analytically strong professional who is seeking to build a long-term career in M&A advisory.

The role is ideally suited to candidates with initial experience in Corporate Finance, Management Consulting, Transaction Services, or Financial Due Diligence who are looking to develop into a well-rounded M&A adviser within a specialist boutique environment.

Working closely with senior advisers and Transaction Advisory Managers, you will support the execution of live M&A and strategic advisory mandates across a broad range of transaction workstreams. From day one, you will gain meaningful exposure to live transactions whilst developing strong technical, analytical and project management skills.

Alongside transaction execution, you will also contribute to the firm's ongoing adoption of AI-enabled research, workflow automation and knowledge management tools that support more efficient and higher-quality client delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
