We are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will have prior experience in investment banking and will support our rapidly growing team across a broad range of activities, including the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A transactions, capital raises, and pre-IPO advisory mandates. The role also involves assessing potential strategic investments in support of RPP’s strategy within the Fintech sector.

The Role

As part of a fast-growing organisation, you will gain exposure to all aspects of our day-to-day business, including:

  • Supporting transaction execution, including stakeholder coordination and preparation of key materials (financial models, equity story presentations, technology materials, capitalisation tables, and pipeline analyses)
  • Taking ownership of selected workstreams, such as due diligence processes and business plan modelling
  • Contributing to pipeline development through valuation analysis, company research, and market assessment
  • Supporting the development and mentoring of junior interns

The internship will run for an initial three-month period, with the possibility of a three-month extension subject to performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Prior experience in investment banking is required
  • Strong understanding of M&A and fundraising processes, including valuation methodologies and transaction structures
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple projects
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Highly analytical, with strong quantitative and technical capabilities
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with databases such as PitchBook, Capital IQ, or Refinitiv Eikon is preferred
