Venue Manager - Wakefield

Salary: £36,340.20 per annum
Hours per week: 45

About Merkur

MERKUR Slots is part of the Gauselmann Group, a family-owned German company operating in over 40 European countries. In the UK, we manage over 220 high street Adult Gaming Centres under our MERKUR Slots Brand.

About the Role

As a Venue Manager, you will:

  • Maximize sales through marketing and promotional activities
  • Ensure high standards of presentation and customer service
  • Manage performance and profitability of the venue
  • Champion company standards and best practices
  • Maintain physical and personal security
  • Control cash and assets, minimizing risks
  • Develop your team and ensure proper management and training
  • Monitor and analyze machine income levels
  • Achieve KPIs and audits
  • Adhere to health and safety practices
  • Complete all administration tasks at the required standard
  • Promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures
  • Respond to customer feedback and enquiries
  • Maintain high personal presentation standards and enforce brand dress code
  • Actively discourage harassment, bullying, victimisation, or discrimination
