Role/Job Title: Messaging Engineer
Work Location: London
Role Type: Contracting
Mode of Working: Office Based
Duration of Assignment: 6 Months
Any Other Working Conditions: Travel/On Call/Shifts - None
Rate Inside: £400 per Day
The Role
To design and implement a global M365 deployment to Microsoft recommended standards.
- Gain sufficient knowledge on the environment and tasks to be performed:
- Transition and Securities to M365
- Federate and Securities to wider group
- Deploy MS Teams including Video + voice into EMA and Securities
- Provide guidance on best practice for Azure-based infrastructure
- Project Support i.e. communication plan/scheduling activities
- Provide an escalation path for administrators
- Incident management and problem management to include reporting function
- Update and create the standard operating procedure
- Ensure that the system meets existing regulations and eDiscovery requirements
Your Responsibilities
- Managing messaging services
- Produce technical road maps for Messaging Services
- Management of service level reporting
- Provide input to management to help assess the future direction of product and services
- Interface between management, business, 3rd parties, and support personnel.
Your Profile
Essential Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Expert in Microsoft Teams to include Video and voice.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Vault and Compliance Tooling
- Engineering of Exchange 2016 deployment and migration from existing Exchange 2010 together with knowledge of Office 365
- Design/Deploy and support existing messaging infrastructure to include BYOD iPhone/IPAD/Blackberry/Exchange/Outlook/Compliance tool/Enterprise Vault (Multiple sites as part of Global Org).
- Understanding of Lotus Notes migration
- Expert in AD\Federated services\Hybrid services
- Ability to communicate effectively with a global org
- Process design, documentation & scripting
- Understanding of hardware design (SAN)
- Solid experience of delivering new services into an enterprise environment

- Global Messaging experience with experience of supporting user base of circa 100,000
- Excellent communication skills
